Really now, a curse that causes illness...What a miserable thing.

[With both Luc and Katara sick yesterday, Gremio has decided to get up nice and early so nobody could stop him and make a nice breakfast to help them feel better. There is, of course, one problem with that:

He still doesn't remember how to cook.]

The young master did say this contraption was for cooking...Oh, what is the cooking time for noodles in a...toaster? I can't tell if they're done at all!

[The reason for that could be the smoke coming out of it. In addition, he has a can of soup heating on the stove--an unopened can, that is, just sitting on the burner.]

[ooc: A-apartmentmates (and Katara, if she's still there) feel free to action this disaster? :D]

I'm still not sure... Hopefully, it isn't but for you to forget you can cook altogether is something very strange.

[She's still feeling sad about this, but she places one comforting hand on Gremio's shoulder with a smile.] Don't worry. I'm sure everything will turn out alright soon.

[He smiles slightly, a mixture of relief for her optimism and uncertainty--he welcomes the comforting gesture, but hopes his obvious lack of warmth doesn't worry her.] You're right. I shall do my best, as well--to learn, in the event that I don't remember.

[Since this is the first time she touched Gremio, she noticed the coldness, yes. But she dismisses it for now as the cold weather they're having. Although, Katara takes well note of this.] That's good to hear. [Releases his shoulder.] I'm sure you can learn quickly.

[Again, he's relieved. Gremio is at peace with the fact that he's dead (although he's still having difficulty wrapping his head around the idea of coming back), but he wouldn't want to cause Katara any discomfort about it.] Thank you. If I have such good instructors like yourself and the young master, it should be fine.

I'm just willing to do whatever I can to help. [Small smile. She's still troubled that he can't remember.]

[Gremio returns her smile with an encouraging one of his own. Really, he's less concerned with the memory loss than he is with troubling them.] All the same--We'll have nothing to worry about. Skills can be relearned, with a little time and effort.
