Really now, a curse that causes illness...What a miserable thing.

[With both Luc and Katara sick yesterday, Gremio has decided to get up nice and early so nobody could stop him and make a nice breakfast to help them feel better. There is, of course, one problem with that:

He still doesn't remember how to cook.]

The young master did say this contraption was for cooking...Oh, what is the cooking time for noodles in a...toaster? I can't tell if they're done at all!

[The reason for that could be the smoke coming out of it. In addition, he has a can of soup heating on the stove--an unopened can, that is, just sitting on the burner.]

[ooc: A-apartmentmates (and Katara, if she's still there) feel free to action this disaster? :D]

[Gremio just beams in response. It's all right if they don't catch anything.] Oh, Young Master...I would enjoy that very much. I certainly hope the weather turns warmer soon!

[ Gremio is so great. ;_; ] It'll probably be a few months, but it's always hard to say... We had those three nice days last month.

[Tyr's happiness is the most important thing~!] That's right! It makes it a little difficult to predict the weather, but it would be a nice surprise if it happened again.

[ This is why they travel to the ends of the Earth together. :3 ] I almost hope it does. Or at least for all this snowing to end...

[ Maybe they talked over when the water started boiling, but Tyr notices it now and takes it off the heat absently. He's chatting. ]

[Chatting with Young Master is wonderful, but the kettle catches his attention--and oh, he's supposed to be paying close attention to this!] Ah, it's ready, Young Master?

[ And Tyr loves that :D Tyr will take Gremio everywhere~ ] Yeah... I'm actually glad you bought those pickled things.

Ah, yeah. All right, get a couple of cups out for us.

[Aw, Tyr is the best master ever~ :3] It doesn't hurt to be prepared, after all. We won't have to worry so much with them.

Right away, Young Master! [This part, he can do correctly! Two simple teacups are ready and waiting for them.]

[ Gremio is the best servant ever, even if he can't serve him. :3 ] If it snowed normally here, we wouldn't need to worry much at all...

[ Gremio sure rocks at basic stuff. He smiles. ] Good. Then you just put the bags in and let the cups sit for a few minutes, and they're done.

[Aww~♥ They are the best family! :D] Perhaps, though who can tell how much snow such a place would get normally?

[Done? Gremio clasps his hands together excitedly.] Is that truly all there is to it? Young Master, thank you! I'm certain I can handle this without issue!

[stargathering]

[ Yes~ You know Tyr's servants are like his family. :3 ] You have a point... Maybe it's usually like this.

[ Yay! On the inside, that is. ] I didn't doubt you could. Now let's have some tea. [ Poooour. ]

[They are, it's the most loving family ever~♥] Somebody who's been here longer would know, I'm sure...

[The lack of outward excitement is no deterrent for Gremio; he'll happily make up for it! And mmm, tea.] Yes, thank you. [Taking a sip without putting anything in it-] O-oh...This tea is more bitter than the one we're used to, isn't it?

[ Yes. :'D Even if Tyr loves Gremio the most. ] Yeah... The girls I knew that had been here the longest though disappeared in the summer...

Ah, yeah. [ Tyr knows exactly where the sugar is. ...He probably doesn't know how much sugar Gremio likes. So he just leaves the dish for him. ] You need to add a lot of sugar to it.

[Aw~ And the feeling is definitely mutual. X) Sadly, Gremio kind of misinterprets that.] D-disappeared?! Y-Young Master, did they...? [Kidnap? Murder? Wait, he's here and dead...]

O-oh, yes. That will certainly help, thank you. [Hm, how much should he put in? Starting with a teaspoon, he at least has the sense to taste it before adding more.] Ah, it's perfect, Young Master!

[stargathering]

They went home. I saw one of them here a little while ago, and... they don't really come here on those days unless they were at home before...

[ Smile! Tyr might add more than that... ] Good. You don't really remember how you like your tea, either?

Oh...Th-that's right, they return home without warning...But Young Master, what sort of days do you mean?

[Gremio likes it sweet, but not as much as Tyr! The question makes him wonder for a second...He remembers drinking tea, but certainly not what to add to it.] N-no, I'm afraid I didn't. [Now he's starting to realize just how strange it is, how he seems to have forgotten so much.]

[stargathering]

Ah... [ Tyr pauses as he thinks how to explain. ] Ever few months, there's a sudden influx of people. They usually just stay for a day or two before they disappear again... [ and Tyr manages to avoid mentioning he also thinks they're just illusions and he saw Gremio twice like that. ]

[ It would figure. He smiles a bit crookedly. ] You'll have to try a few things until you find your favourite again...

Similar to visitors or tourists, then? How strange that is! [It doesn't occur to him to ask if Tyr has ever seen anyone he knows on such a day.]

[The memory loss seems a bit more troubling now than it did earlier, but he easily returns the smile.] I suppose I shall...Well, I'm certain I would enjoy the same foods you like, Young Master, so that will be fine for me.

[stargathering]

[ He nods. ] Yeah, like that. Some people say they're just visiting...

It shouldn't be hard for me to show you how to make the things I like, then. [ Though for the first time, he really wishes he knew how to make what Gremio likes. ]

That must be quite an exciting time for everyone here. [He sighs, more dramatic than anything else as he's not overly bothered by the City.] Aah, a short visit seems so pleasant, doesn't it?

Wonderful! Th-then soon...I'll be able to cook your favourite meals for you! [Tyr's likes are Gremio's likes by extension~! Really, this idea just makes him all excited again.]

Yeah... [ He smiles just to not ruin Gremio's good mood, especially since he has nothing to prove he it's not meant to be enjoyable. ] It gets pretty crowded, but it's not so bad...

That's right! [ Except from his favourite stew, and pot roast, and coq au vin, and... all those other things that are too complicated for Tyr. He'll show Gremio the best sandwiches ever, though! ]

[Gremio remains none the wiser for now.] My, with so much happening all at once, it's almost like a festival, isn't it?

It has also been suggested that I try some cookbooks. I'm certain we'll find some good recipes! This way, I can of more service to you--ah, again, that is. [He'll master sandwiches, and somehow, they'll move onto bigger recipes!]
