11; Giving Thanks
It's certainly a relief that those monster attacks have ended for the time being. I only hope anyone affected by these strange events will recover soon.
But in spite of these unpleasant occurrences...I really am grateful to be here. To have this second chance after death--this is already so much more than I could ever hope to ask for.
Thank you. Words cannot express the depth of my appreciation, though I'm afraid they're all I have to offer.

[If Gremio was worried about bringing it up for Aska and Tyr to hear, it's nothing compared to his panic as Ted responds. He wasn't supposed to mention anything about the future to Ted--that was what Tyr had asked of him.
And failing those expectations weigh more heavily on his mind than his own death. That, and causing Ted to worry.]
Forgive me, Ted. I...should not have mentioned that.

[Is it really? Will it ever really? To think Gremio also died some time in the future. Ted knows he himself will. He can feel it even if Gremio and Tyr hides it from him.]
I just can't believe you... it happened to you, too.
no subject
Still, he can't help his surprise. Tyr never outright confirmed Ted's death to Gremio, even if he had an idea.]
Ted, you...You, too? Did the y-- [No, he won't ask it Tyr told him. He probably shouldn't pry, but...he's still concerned for them.]

[Ted pauses for a bit.] I've been meaning to tell Tyr about it, but... seeing as he already has it, chances are I did give him the rune after what happened in the castle. After that, I just...
I just know things went downhill.
no subject
So, come on. Tell me, did I protect Tyr before I died?
no subject
Oh, Ted. There's no way Gremio can lie--not about what he knows.]
...Yes. You distracted Windy's soldiers to allow the young master to escape Gregminster. I'm afraid...I don't know what became of you after that.
no subject
Well, good enough reason to go, huh?
no subject
[Who is Gremio to argue, when he died for the same reason?]
...I'm simply grateful to have you with us here. I know the young master feels that way, too.
no subject
He doesn't want to know the details of Gremio's death, though. He knows it'd be hard to talk about.] And I'm thankful you're here with us, too, Gremio. If... the reason you died is the same as mine, [Which he knows for sure] I'm sure Tyr wouldn't want us to go.
also not here/awake
oh you, go to beeed
did you sleeeep~?
againEVER]I did. 8D I just read this thread before closing shop
Good! This is just...;o;

He doesn't bring up what Tyr told him--that he would return to life one day. It doesn't seem right to mention that when the same won't be done for Ted...And Gremio feels a hint of guilt for it.]
...It may not be something we have any say in, however...Ted, let us be with him as long as he stays.
no subject
Hey, that's something I won't object on doing. Ever.

[
Leknaat's gift might be better off for Ted-He manages a genuine, if somewhat sad smile.]I know you won't. Now...Come on, I'll serve you some breakfast.
1/2
Oh no, don't ever go there, Gremio! Tyr needs you so much. If Ted knows about this, he'd be happy for you. Besides, 300 years? That's already a lot of time for him to live.Ted manages the same smile too.]Of course.
no subject
Alright, that sounds great. Man, I'm starving! What's for breakfast?
no subject
But Tyr also needs his best friend-!Breakfast is a much lighter topic.]I'm making eggs this morning--any way you would like them.
no subject
Tyr needs his ever faithful servant/mommy more.Totally!]I'll like eggs any way you cook 'em, but- If I have to choose, well, probably sunny side up?
no subject
...He shouldn't have to choose only one or the other. ;_;And Ted gets them whichever way he wants!]Then sunny side up it is. I'll have them ready for you soon.
no subject
True! Such a cruel game sob. ;o;Aw, Gremio does some expert spoiling right here.]Thanks a lot, Gremio! Hey, are you gonna cook some stew later?
no subject
Baww yes. D:Gremio is a pro at spoiling, it's true!]Oh, well--I would have to get the ingredients, but it is a possibility.
no subject
Bawww's forever! He has a PhD for it.]Well, I'll help you! I can get the ingredients. What would you need?
