We're fine, Gremio! [ Pothole past, Tyr returns to the speed he was going before. ]

For now, we are...[He sighs--only partially out of relief.] In any case, are you keeping an eye on your surroundings?

Yes, I'm watching the birds. [ Flat answer, but he's watching where he's going. Chill out, Gremio. ]

[Oh Tyr, that's going to be taken somewhat seriously.] Ah, birds are not really--please watch out for pets, and e-especially pedestrians!

I don't know if I want to. [ Are you real, Gremio? ]

[He's fretting for real!] B-but--Y-Y-Young Master-!

[ So is this blatant ignoring. ] Ah, is that a robin already?

[Tyr, so cruel!] Ah, ah, n-no, wait...P-please pay attention before we c-crash!

[ it's gremio's fretting's fault :| ] Oh, it's building its nest on that person's windowsill... [ The car slows to a stop at a red light. ]

[Well, he's glad they actually stopped, but--tyr's the one making him fret! ;_;] Y-Young Master! Young Master, a-are you listening?

[ Tyr glances over to him as he responds with all the huffiness in the world. ] Of course I'm listening. You don't need to state the obvious.

[Gremio doesn't know whether to be relieved or annoyed, really, but he reminds himself that Tyr's new to driving--maybe he's just nervous, too!] ...I-I simply wanted to be sure...It would be terrible if we ran over anyone!

[stargathering]

[ ...Tyr can't stay annoyed at Gremio when he's like that. But ugh. He's not six! ] I'm not careless. When I do something wrong, then you can worry about someone being run over.

[ ...and I'm sure there will be plenty of mistakes, but! ]

[Something as major as driving makes him much more fretty than usual, but he's glad Tyr's listening--sort of, anyway.] Y-yes, Young Master...Ah, don't worry! As long as you pay attention, y-you'll do fine!

[Yes, but he's learning! So a few mistakes are okay. :>]

[ Tyr nods resolutely. ] Thanks... You're the one that needs to not worry, though.

[Nervously, he scratches his cheek. It's probably impossible for him to stop worrying, even if he's told that.] A-ah, yes...You're right.

[ Tyr knows that full and well by now, but he'll still say it. After a pause with Tyr's fingers drumming against the wheel, he asks: ] Now... Where did you want me to drive again?

[ His mistakes are endearing! ]

Oh, ah, l-let's see...[He'll still attempt to keep calm for Tyr's sake! And he had better make a decision before the light changes.] Let us go straight for now, and...we'll turn left at the next light, all right?

All right. [ Tyr nods, waiting a little impatiently for the light to change, but it does soon after Gremio finishes. ] I think I have the hang of this, though... I don't know why they make such a big deal out of it.

Are you going to make me practice all day? [ There's a teasing tone in his voice, but he's totally thinking of iiiit. ...without Gremio telling him to slow down or asking what he's looking at while they're stopped. ]

Oh, no! Certainly not all day, Young Master...I'm sure an hour or two at most will be sufficient for today. [Surely Tyr isn't thinking he'd like to go for a drive on his own, right? Right?]
